Occasionally, we will release firmware updates for the clock that will fix issues and add new functions. These firmware updates will be downloaded over the Internet and installed directly through the Reason Home app.
To begin, make sure both the clock and your phone are connected to the Internet. The clock will show "Online" in blue text on the Reason Home app home screen.
Tap the image of the clock on the home screen one time. It will take you to a screen that shows the Amazon Alexa logo and Clock Info with Alarms, Reminders, and Timers. On this screen tap the Gear icon at the top right.
Tapping the Gear icon will take you to the Settings page. Under Settings, you should see the second line that says "Update Firmware."
Tap Update Firmware and it will automatically check for the latest version. If there is an update available, you can tap the Update button near the bottom of the screen. It will then say "Updating now...firmware update complete...rebooting."
Wait until the firmware is completely finished downloading and installing and the clock is finished rebooting. When it is done, the screen will say "Firmware updated successfully" and the Current Version displayed below that. Tap "OK" to exit.
