If you decide to move the clock to a different room in your home but the Wi-Fi network is the same, you do not have to repeat the setup of the clock. You can plug the clock to the outlet of the new room and wait up to a 1 minute. The clock will automatically reconnect and be ready for use again.
However, if you are moving to a different home or workplace with a different Wi-Fi network, you will need to reset the clock and repeat the Wi-Fi setup from the beginning.
To do this, you should go to the Alexa app (if you have downloaded it), and go to the Devices tab. Under Devices, tap All Devices, then tap the associated Reason ONE to enter device settings. Scroll down and you will see the section "Registered to." You need to tap Deregister to the right and then tap Deregister again when the message pops up.
Then open the Reason Home app, tap the clock tile on the Home tab then tap the gear icon to enter Settings. Under Settings, you can scroll down and tap the red Remove Device button then tap OK.
Alternatively, on the Reason Home app Home tab, you can press and hold down on the clock tile for a second or two. A pop-up will come up asking if you wish to remove the clock. Tap OK to proceed.
After removing the clock, you can unplug the clock and move it to new location. Once the clock is plugged into an outlet and there is an orange light at the top, you can open the Reason Home app, tap Add Device or the small + sign. Follow the instructions on the app to setup the clock.
If you do not see an orange light on the top of the clock or there is no zimi-clock Wi-Fi network available under your Wi-Fi settings, you should reset the clock by inserting a paper clip or pin into the small reset hole on the back of the clock. After the clock reboots and an orange light appears, you can try setup again.
