While using the Alexa assistant with the Reason ONE alarm clock, some data is collected by Amazon to improve their services. This data is only accessed and used by Amazon and not ZMI USA or Reason Home.
To view the data that is collected from you and manage the data collection settings, you will need to either log in to your Amazon account on a web browser or open the Amazon Alexa app on your phone or tablet. If you do not have the Amazon Alexa app, you can download it from the App Store/Play Store.
On your web browser, you can visit this link and sign in to your Amazon account to review your Alexa Privacy Settings.
On your phone/tablet, you must first download and open the Amazon Alexa app. Tap the three bars at the bottom right of the app labelled More. Scroll down to Settings and tap it. Under Settings, tap "Alexa Privacy." Under Alexa Privacy, you can review the data that has been collected from you, including Voice History and adjust the date range to see recordings from different dates ranges.
You can also delete data that you don't want stored. For example, to delete voice recordings stored by Amazon, you can specify the date range from today to all history, and then tap Delete All Recordings for the selected date range. Or you can delete each recording individually.
There are other settings you can choose to review under Manage Your Alexa Data. For example, you can choose to automatically delete recordings after a certain amount of time, and you can manage your Smart Home device history. We recommend carefully looking through these settings and customizing them to fit your privacy needs.
