You can set your desired alarms by either one of two methods:
1) Carefully phrase your voice commands (it can be challenging to say just what Alexa can understand, so writing down the utterances on a piece of paper first would be a good thing to do.
2) Use the Amazon Alexa app to set the alarms precisely the way you intended. We would suggest Method 2, which will give you plenty of time to set and revise the alarms until you get them right. One trick worth considering is to first set a simple, "starter" alarm using a voice command and then find it under More > Alarms & Timers in the Amazon Alexa on your phone or pad. Once you find the alarm, you can then modify it to fit your need.
Here's an example. If you want to set an alarm that repeats only on weekdays:
First, open the Amazon Alexa app.
Go to the More tab at the bottom right.
Tap on Alarms & Timers.
Tap Add Alarm.
Select the exact time you want the alarm to go off.
Select the Device (Reason ONE).
For Repeat, select Weekdays.
Tap the back arrow and select the Date you want the alarm to begin.
Finally, you can select the sound of the alarm.
When you're finished. tap Save at the top right.
Alarm set up complete.
Another example. If you want to set an alarm that repeats only on Sundays:
First, open the Amazon Alexa app.
Go to the More tab at the bottom right.
Tap on Alarms & Timers.
Tap Add Alarm.
Select the exact time you want the alarm to go off.
Select the Device (Reason ONE).
For Repeat, select Weekly.
Tap the back arrow and select the Date you want the alarm to begin. Make sure it's on Sunday.
Finally, you can select the sound of the alarm.
When you're finished, tap Save at the top right.
Alarm set up complete.
Yet another example. If you want to set an alarm that repeats Monday, Wednesday, and Friday:
Unfortunately, the Amazon Alexa app does not allow for this type of repeat. Therefore, the best way is to use the above instructions and set up three alarms repeating weekly (1st alarm repeating every Monday, 2nd alarm repeating every Wednesday, 3rd alarm repeating every Friday).
When you're finished setting up the three weekly repeating alarms, remember to tap Save.
